Esteemed Board
The esteemed board of trustees are the governing body of Al Akhawayn University in Ifrane.
They get to follow up on the development of the university and the directions it takes over the years.
History of Commencements
Commencement at Al Akhawayn University is considered the highlight of every school year. It is a special time to honor and award degrees to graduating students, and formally recognize their achievements.
1999
First Commencement
Keynote speaker: Jérôme Binde, Director of UNESCO’s Analysis and Forecasting Office.
Number of graduates:172 students graduated (85 undergraduates and 87 graduates).
1999
Second Commencement
Keynote speaker:Hilary Rodham Clinton, then-First Lady of the United States.
Number of graduates: 110 students graduated (93 undergraduates and 17 graduates)
