On June 11th , 2022, Al Akhawayn community will celebrate the academic achievements of the Classes of 2020, 2021, and 2022 during the 23rd Commencement Ceremony. You will find all information on this year’s Commencement here. 

This will be a special day for you, graduates, for your families and friends, and for the University. Be sure not to miss it.

The esteemed board of trustees are the governing body of Al Akhawayn University in Ifrane.

They get to follow up on the development of the university and the directions it takes over the years.

History of Commencements

The commencement ceremony at Al Akhawayn University is considered the highlight of every school year. It is a special time to honor and award degrees to graduating students, and formally recognize their achievements. 


First Commencement 

Keynote speaker: Jérôme Binde, Director of UNESCO’s Analysis and Forecasting Office. 

Number of graduates:172 students graduated (85 undergraduates and 87 graduates).  


Second Commencement 

Keynote speaker:Hilary Rodham Clinton, then-First Lady of the United States. 

Number of graduates: 110 students graduated (93 undergraduates and 17 graduates)
